Sound Barrier System

Sound Barrier System effectively absorbs and reduces the noise impact from different sound sources. Sound Barrier is a solid obstruction built between the highway and the homes that helps to reduce noise levels bringing it to acceptable levels.

Regulation

Govt. of Maharashtra has issued a circular dated 3rd December, 2008 to implement noise reduction levels from elevated roads and flyovers by installation of Sound Barrier. Installing effective Sound Barrier System shall reduce noise level to acceptable levels of 60 to70 dB.

Test Carried by ARAI

Sound Barrier System developed by Time Technoplast Ltd. has been tested by ARAI (Research Institution with Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises, Govt. of India) and have found its performance to meet transmission loss prescribed by the government standard

Test Procedure

The test was carried out as per ASTM E 90 Standard.
